Barcelona. Toyser was commissioned to use a precision measuring trolley to scan a total of four railway tunnels on the lines operated by Adif and Ferrocaril Metropolità de Barcelona (FMB) with an overall length of 800 metres.

 

The scanning of these four tunnels was part of the precision measuring of the structures affected by the new road tunnel between the streets Castillejos and Badajoz foreseen in the project for road tunnels in Las Glòries Square

 

Toyser provided the technical equipment required for these measurements: an Amberg GRP 5000 railway track trolley with an HDS 6200 scanner and a Leica TS30 total station with 0.5" angular accuracy and 0.6 mm in distance. The work speed was 0.9 km/hour in order to record a point density of 5 x 5 mm.

 

This project was supplemented by a photo report on all the tunnels, with a total of more than 2,500 pictures.
